Many of my feeds include alternative news stories as well as the recent hot topics in the conspiracy world. There is one topic that keeps popping up, that I've avoided like the plague...the flat earth theory.
In my opinion, this one takes the cake in discrediting every single researcher of any conspiracy. It's ludicrous. It's ridiculous.
Yet over the last year or so that topic has blown up.
I really didn't even want to look into it at all, but curiosity won.
I will post further on the topic, but in summary, after watching videos and reading articles from several credible sources and recalling my last plane ride and looking at the pictures I took, my conclusion is:
I don't know if it's flat, but according to the math and curvature formulas, it doesn't seem to be a sphere either.
My general findings were:
1. THE CURVATURE CALCULATION IS NOT CORRECT AT ALL
1 mile = .67 feet of curvature
I can see the Atlantic City boardwalk from 28 miles away on a clear day with naked eye. With binoculars I can see the boardwalk just 5 ft above sand. According to this calculation, AC should be hidden by 522 feet of curvature.
The three tallest buildings in AC are 710, 525 and 470 ft tall, and all on the beach. So according to the curvature, I should have only been able to see the top of the 710 ft Ocean Resort Casino, yet the whole city is visible. The boardwalk is even visible. UM WTF?
2. THE EARTH LOOKS FLAT from a plane, a hot air balloon, a tall building. Observe for yourself.
3. The GO PRO cameras that everyone uses has a major fish eye lens that distorts the shot making anything look rounded.
Then come the questions...if Earth is flat:
-WHY the big cover up?
- NASA has lied about everything
- if it is flat, what is underneath?
- if our government is lying about the literal shape of our planet, what else are they not telling us?
